A return to meaning.
Islamic art,
made to be worn.
From the Arabic أصل: origin, foundation, authenticity. Centuries of Islamic art, transformed into objects worn, lived with, and carried. An homage to the heritage it comes from.
The Original
Collection.
A trilogy of sculptural rings in 925 sterling silver. Each one an architectural expression of faith.
The calligraphy does not sit on the surface. It becomes the structure itself, inseparable from the form, shaping every curve and contour with intention.

The weight of the message,
made physical.
Noor
the lightSandblasted matte silver. The verse polished to a quiet shine. Soft, contemporary, luminous.
Noir
the darkOxidised black silver. The verse hand-polished to a high shine. Bold, refined, precise.
The Making
Six stages, by hand
Every ring is made to order and takes around six weeks. This is the whole of it, in six frames.
01
Pulled from the Resin
Printed in resin by light. Every dimension is fixed here.
02
Building the Tree
Wax copies welded by hand, making a route for the silver.
03
Cleaning the Casting
925 sterling silver, cut from the tree and cleaned back.
04
At the Bench
The inner band shaped by hand so a heavy ring sits easily.
05
Into the Flame
Heat softens the worked metal and darkens the script.
06
Polishing the Verse
Only the raised letters are polished. The ground stays dark.
