We offer complimentary shipping on all orders. No minimum spend, no hidden fees. Simply the jewellery, delivered to your door.
How long will my order take to arrive?
As all of our pieces are made to order, please allow 10 to 12 weeks for your ring to be crafted before dispatch. Once your order is on its way, you will receive a tracking link so you can follow your parcel's journey.
How do I track my order?

II

Returns & Exchanges

What is your returns policy?
As all of our rings are made to order and take 10 to 12 weeks to craft, they are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once production has begun. This includes instances where the ring does not fit. We strongly recommend confirming your size carefully before ordering, and we are happy to assist with sizing guidance beforehand.
Please note We will only offer a replacement or full refund if your ring arrives with a manufacturing fault, or if an incorrect ring or size was sent due to an error on our part.

Please note that sterling silver will naturally tarnish over time. This is a characteristic of the metal, not a fault. Our care guide explains how to keep your pieces looking their best.

III

Materials & Care

What materials are used in Asl Jewellery pieces?
All of our jewellery is crafted in 925 sterling silver, a hallmark of quality and longevity. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to be worn, cherished, and passed down.
How should I care for my jewellery?
To preserve the beauty of your sterling silver pieces, we recommend storing them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals. Gently polish with a soft cloth to restore their natural lustre.
Will my jewellery tarnish?
Sterling silver may naturally develop a patina over time, a sign of its authenticity. Regular wear and gentle cleaning will keep your pieces looking their finest.

Ring Sizing

As every Asl ring is crafted individually to order, selecting the correct size before placing your order is essential. We cannot accommodate size changes once production has begun. Please take your time with this section.

Important. Read Before Ordering

Our rings are wide bands, please size up.

Every Asl ring is a wide, substantial band, significantly heavier than a typical fine jewellery piece. Heavy bands fit tighter than slim ones at the same nominal size, because the wider surface grips more of the finger and flexes less over the knuckle.

Asl rings are produced in whole US sizes only. To ensure a proper fit on a wide band, please follow the rule below.

The Asl Sizing Rule
  1. Measure your finger using the methods on this page.
  2. If you land exactly on a whole size, order one size up.
  3. If you land between two whole sizes, order the larger of the two. Do not size up further.
For example: if you measure at a 7, order an 8. If you measure between a 7 and an 8, order an 8.
US Size UK Size Diameter Circumference EU / mm
6 L ½ 16.5 mm / 0.65 in 51.9 mm / 2.04 in 52
7 N ½ 17.3 mm / 0.68 in 54.4 mm / 2.14 in 54
8 P ½ 18.2 mm / 0.72 in 57.0 mm / 2.24 in 57
9 R ½ 19.0 mm / 0.75 in 59.5 mm / 2.34 in 59
10 T ½ 19.8 mm / 0.78 in 62.1 mm / 2.44 in 62
The Asl Standard We list US size as the primary reference, paired with the corresponding UK letter and millimetre measurements. Diameter measures the inner width. Circumference measures the inside loop. Asl rings are crafted in whole US sizes (6, 7, 8, 9, 10) only.
Four ways to measure
i

The Jeweller

Most Accurate

Visit a local jeweller and ask for a wide-band fitting. A trained hand with a calibrated mandrel accounts for width, temperature, and knuckle shape in a single sitting.

ii

A Ring You Own

Best at Home

Measure the inner diameter of a plain band that already fits. Use a millimetre ruler or calliper, straight across the widest point. Match to the chart above.

iii

Paper Strip

Reliable

Cut a strip of paper 10mm wide. Wrap snugly around the base of the finger, mark the overlap, then measure in mm. This is your circumference. Find it in the chart.

iv

String or Floss

Fallback Only

The least accurate method. If nothing else is available, wrap non-stretchy string around the finger, mark, and measure. Always size up if you fall between two results.

Details that matter

Measure in the evening

Fingers swell gradually through the day. An early-morning reading is the smallest you will ever be. By evening, you are closer to your true size.

At body temperature

Cold fingers shrink. Warm hands expand. Measure after a few minutes indoors at normal temperature, never straight out of cold air or after exercise.

The correct hand

Your dominant hand is usually a quarter size larger. Measure the exact finger on the exact hand where your Asl ring will be worn, every time.

Mind the knuckle

The ring must pass over the knuckle without force. If your knuckle is noticeably larger than the base, choose a size between the two, leaning larger.

Measure three times

On three different occasions: morning, afternoon, evening. Take the average. This is the method used by professional jewellers to remove daily variation.

Between two sizes, go up

Always. A slightly loose ring is livable. A ring that cannot pass the knuckle is not. This applies especially to wide bands like Asl pieces.

How do I find my ring size?
As all of our rings are made to order, it is important to ensure your size is correct before placing your order. We recommend using a ring sizer or measuring the internal diameter of a ring that fits you well. Once you have your measurement, follow the Asl sizing rule above to determine which whole size to order. If you are unsure, please get in touch before ordering. We are happy to help.
What sizes do you offer?
Asl rings are crafted in whole US sizes only: 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. We do not currently offer half sizes. Our sizing rule above is designed to ensure that any finger measurement maps cleanly onto one of these whole sizes for a comfortable fit on a wide band.
How long does it take to receive my ring?
Each ring is individually crafted to order, taking approximately 10 to 12 weeks from the date of purchase. This lead time reflects the care and craftsmanship that goes into every piece. You will be kept informed throughout the process.
Can I change my size after ordering?
As rings enter production shortly after an order is placed, we are unable to accommodate size changes once confirmed. Please take care when selecting your size, and do get in touch if you need guidance before purchasing.
